Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor”-assaince is headed to North America with a string of tour dates scheduled for this spring.

The short-run will kick off May 30 at August Hall in San Francisco, with additional shows scheduled in San Diego, Washington D.C., Boston, and Philadelphia, as well as a previously announced (and already sold out) gig in New York City. The run will wrap on June 8 at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto. Ticket info is available on Ellis-Bextor’s website.

Ellis-Bextor has enjoyed a very busy few months after the final scene of Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn helped catapult “Murder on the Dancefloor” — originally released in 2001 — back onto the charts. The song (which got a special vinyl reissue, as well) matched its peak chart position in the U.K., hitting Number Two while also reaching the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time and rising all the way to Number 51.

Ellis-Bextor recently got the opportunity to make her U.S. television debut, performing “Murder on the Dancefloor” with the Roots on The Tonight Show earlier this month. Then, over the weekend, she was back in the U.K. to play the song at the British Academy Film and Television Arts Awards.

In an interview with the BBC back in January, Ellix-Bextor said the “Murder on the Dancefloor” resurgence felt “really magical” and “extraordinary,” adding: “It’s a song I’ve been singing for over 20 years. I still love singing it. I love the way people react when I do it live. But for new people to be discovering it, for it to be making new memories with people is kind of beautiful.”
