Yungblud Crowd-Surfs in a Wheelchair While Performing With Broken Leg

“Good way to break my leg …,” singer quips weeks after injuring himself before Sturgis Motorcycle Rally gig

Yungblud didn’t let a broken leg prevent him from engaging in a little crowd-surfing as the singer — wheelchair in tow — took a spin atop the audience Tuesday at his Portugal show.

Earlier this month, Yungblud revealed that he broke his leg in a dirt-bike accident just hours before his Aug. 9 concert at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota.

“I’m not gonna be able to hop around and fucking shake my ass like I normally do,” the injured singer told the Sturgis crowd after the accident while clinging to a bottle of Jack Daniel’s. “However, I’m gonna keep drinking this Jack.”

Yungblud said that despite the injury his European concerts would continue as scheduled, and on Tuesday night at the Vilar de Mouros festival in Portugal, the singer was wheeled onto the stage by scantily clad nurses with his leg still in a cast.

At one point during the show, the wheelchair-bound singer actually engaged in crowd-surfing.

Yungblud has one more date on his itinerary — Friday night at Belgium’s Pukkelpop festival — before he can rest and recover from his leg injury in a way more aligned with doctors’ orders.
