Spider-Man: Brand New Day launches two songs onto the Billboard Hot 100 dated Aug. 15 — one for the first time — following the movie’s July 31 theatrical premiere.
Tame Impala’s “Loser” returns to the survey at No. 46, while Steve Lacy’s “Oh Yeah?” debuts at No. 54 after the pair was featured in the superhero flick.

In the week ending Aug. 6, “Loser” earned 6.3 million chart-eligible streams, 369,000 radio audience impressions and sold 1,000 downloads in the United States, according to Luminate. Those 6.3 million streams represent a 1,155% jump over the previous frame’s (July 24-30) 504,000 listens.
“Loser” spends its second week on the Hot 100 as a result, garnering a new peak in the process. It previously debuted at No. 91 on the Nov. 1, 2025, tally following the release of its parent album Deadbeat.
As for “Oh Yeah?,” it bows with 5.9 million streams, a boost of 267% over 1.6 million July 24-30. The song, the title track to Lacy’s third studio album, missed the Hot 100 upon its initial release, though it did appear on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs list dated Aug. 1 at No. 36.
Speaking of Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, both tracks return to the Aug. 15 ranking within the top 10, “Loser” at No. 7 and “Oh Yeah?” at No. 10.
While that covers Spider-Man songs’ presences on the Hot 100, music featured in the film also makes a dent on Hot Latin Songs via Bad Bunny‘s “EOO,” which reenters at No. 2 thanks to a 48% increase in streams from 3.4 million to 5 million.
And on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. list, Mrs. Green Apple’s “Brand New” returns at No. 163 (7.2 million streams, up 14%; 3,000 downloads). “Loser” also ranks there for the first time at No. 66, while “EOO” zooms 120-61.
