Bunnie Xo Reacts to Jelly Roll’s Daughter Claiming Internet Would ‘Crumble’ If Full Truth of Their Divorce Came Out

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo fans were left confused by comments the country star’s 18-year-old daughter, Bailee Ann, made in regard to the ex-couple’s recent divorce, which seemed to imply that there’s more to the story than the public realizes. But according to the podcaster, there’s nothing to clarify.

In response to a person who left a comment on Bunnie’s recent TikTok asking for her to address the livestream Bailee hosted a couple of days prior — during which the teenager asserted that the internet would “crumble” if the full truth behind why her dad and stepmom split were known — the Dumb Blonde host wrote, “Nothing to clear up.”

“She didn’t say anything lol ppl just wanna run w a narrative,” Bunnie, who shares full custody over Bailee with Jelly, continued. “Love my baby forever.”

The influencer has been open with her audience about the reasons she and Jelly called it quits after nearly 10 years of marriage, explaining in a since-deleted episode of her podcast that their ability to communicate with each other had experienced a breakdown in recent years as the singer’s high-profile life became increasingly draining for her. In a heated moment during a fight on Mother’s Day, Bunnie said that she’d dared her then-husband to file divorce papers without expecting that he’d actually do it.

“No, it was not mutual, even though I told him to file the divorce papers — I was speaking out of anger and just frustration,” she recalled at the time.

Even so, Bunnie noted that she and Jelly were on the “best possible terms” and had chosen to continue their IVF journey in the hopes of welcoming a child together as best friends and coparents. That’s why it was so bewildering for some when Bailee went live on TikTok and said on July 19, “Y’all have no f–king idea what happened, and wait ‘til y’all find out … the internet in totality is about to f–king crumble the day that I open my mouth.”

“It’s not a difference in f–king opinions,” she’d continued at the time, noting that people still don’t have a full scope of her parents’ relationship, much less how it ended. “Nobody else lived in it. So don’t f–king even. I’m for real so done. Good? Everybody good? We’re on the same page? Cool.”

Later, in the comments of one of her own recent TikToks, Bailee explained that she “just had a lil crash out” while denying her livestream had been an “intentional” way of promoting her own future podcast. When someone then accused her of backpedaling, though, she added, “Not one bit I stand on what I said.”

Jelly filed to divorce Bunnie in May, news that went public in June. In July, People reported that their split had been finalized, with the musician set to give his ex-wife a one-time, confidential lump-sum payment in lieu of alimony.

For his part, Jelly hasn’t talked much about the divorce, aside from what he said on stage in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., one of his recent tour stops on his trek supporting 2024’s Billboard 200-topper Beautifully Broken. “Nobody cheated on nobody,” he told the crowd. “That will be my best friend forever … Bunnie, I love you, baby. Thank you for those 10 years.”
