LE SSERAFIM are bringing their latest hit song to the basketball court. The K-pop group will perform on the first-ever WNBA edition of “Amazon Music Presents: In the Paint” this week, Billboard can exclusively announce on Tuesday (June 7).
Sakura, Yunjin, Kazuha and Eunchae will headline the show to perform their latest single “Boompala” following the Prime Video broadcast of the Indiana Fever vs. Phoenix Mercury WNBA game on Thursday. In our exclusive preview of the performance, group leader Kim Chaewon is on leave due to a neck injury, while the remaining quartet performs in front of a basketball hoop, leading a joint dance to the song’s chorus.
Following the show, fans can head to the Amazon Music app to watch an exclusive performance of the group’s song “Spaghetti.”
With this performance, LE SSERAFIM joins a roster of artists who have previously headlined NBA editions of “Amazon Music Presents: In the Paint,” including Weezer, Kehlani, TAEMIN, Clipse, Nas, YG, Charlie Puth and BigXthaPlug.
“Launching the WNBA edition of ‘In the Paint’ is a natural next step for the series,” said Kirdis Postelle, global head of content development and distribution at Amazon Music. “We’re always looking for new ways to connect music and sports, and with the WNBA’s popularity continuing to surge and LE SSERAFIM cementing its place as a global phenomenon, bringing the two together for this performance was a natural fit.”
Last month, LE SSERAFIM landed their third No. 1 and sixth top 10 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, as PUREFLOW opened atop the list dated June 6. The project’s release came with 34,000 copies sold in the United States in the week ending May 28, according to Luminate. Lead single “Boompala” is one of the group’s 12 entries on the Billboard Global 200, so far peaking at No. 98. The “In the Paint” performance previews what’s to come from the group’s upcoming 2026 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘PUREFLOW,’ starting July 11 in South Korea and including nine U.S. stops in September and October.
