Victoria Monét Lands Third Straight Adult R&B Airplay No. 1 With ‘Let Me’

Victoria Monét Lands Third Straight Adult R&B Airplay No. 1 With ‘Let Me’

All challengers stepped aside for Victoria Monét’s “Let Me” on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart this week, as the single tops the list dated June 20. The new champ rises from No. 4, reflecting its status as the most played song on panel-contributing adult R&B radio stations in the United States for the tracking week of June 5-11, according to Luminate.

As “Let Me” takes the top slot, it succeeds Raheem DeVaughn’s “You (20th Anniversary Edition),” which slides to the runner-up rank after one week in charge.

“Let Me,” released and promoted through Lovett/RCA Records, gives the Grammy-winning Monét her third Adult R&B Airplay No. 1. She previously ruled with “On My Mama,” for three weeks in March 2024 and returned to the summit a year later with the two-week leader “SOS (Sex on Sight),” featuring Usher. Among her four appearances, the only one to miss the top spot was her first, “Coastin,” which peaked at No. 18 in January 2022.

Thanks to her chart-toppers, Monét is the first act to send three consecutive Adult R&B Airplay entries to No. 1 since Charlie Wilson last October. The R&B legend stretched his run over some years, with each song enjoying a three-week rule: 2022’s “No Stoppin Us,” featuring Babyface, K-Ci Hailey and Johnny Gill, began the streak and was joined by 2024’s “Superman” and 2025’s “Keep Me in Love.”

Among women, Muni Long was the last to complete a three-peat, with “Make Me Forget” and “Ruined Me” in August 2024 and November 2024, respectively, and “Superpowers” in April 2025.

Elsewhere, “Let Me” pushes 17-14 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, which ranks songs by combined audience totals from both adult R&B and mainstream R&B/hip-hop stations. There, it improved to 5.6 million (up 12%) for the latest tracking week.

The radio gains, in turn, help “Let Me” debut on the multimetric Hot R&B Songs chart, a ranking blending radio airplay, streaming and sales data. It starts at No. 24 to mark Monét’s eight charting title there. “On My Mama” remains her best showing, peaking at No. 4 in December 2023.
