Jack Osbourne Names Baby Daughter After Late Father Ozzy

Jack Osbourne and his wife, Aree Osbourne, announced the arrival of their daughter on Wednesday.

In a joint Instagram post, the couple shared a black-and-white video of their baby girl with a Jellycat bat and card noting that she was born on March 5, 2026, weighing in at 7 pounds and 12 ounces. In the caption, they wrote: “Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne.”

Baby Ozzy is named after her late grandfather and metal legend, Ozzy Osbourne. News of her birth comes nearly eight months after his death. The musician died at the age of 76 of a heart attack on July 22, 2025, and suffered from coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease. Weeks before his death, Ozzy was able to give his fans a bittersweet final goodbye with a hometown Back to the Beginning concert alongside members of Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham.

Jack shared a tribute on Instagram to his father last August. “He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be apart of a very small group that got to call him ‘Dad,’” Jack wrote. “My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude. I got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing.”

Ozzy Matilda is Jack and Aree’s second child. Their first, Maple Artemis Osbourne, was born on July 9, 2022. Jack is also a father to three daughters — Pearl Clementine Osbourne, 13, Andy Rose Osbourne, 10, and Minnie Theodora Osbourne, 7 — with his ex-wife, Lisa Stelly.
