Bad Bunny, Karol G, Romeo Santos & More Win at Premio Lo Nuestro 2026: Full Winners List (Updating)

The 2026 Premio Lo Nuestro ceremony kicked off with a lively salsa number by Marc Anthony and Nathy Peluso, who gave their first-ever live performance of their collaboration “Como en el Idilio.” But the winners began being announced hours earlier on social media, with multiple awards going to artists like Bad Bunny, who took home the honors for album of the year (Debí Tirar Más Fotos) and song of the year (“DtMF”), as well as Karol G and Carín León.

The first award presented during the ceremony, for artist of the year – tropical, went to Romeo Santos, who took the opportunity to clarify his stance on the deportation campaign of the Trump administration after receiving criticism following an interview in which he was asked about it.

“I won’t always have the perfect speech, and sometimes I’ll be asked questions that I won’t answer to meet everyone’s expectations, but those who know me know that I’m always advocating for my Latino community,” the bachata superstar said on stage. “Until recently, almost everyone knew my stance in favor of immigrants in this country. Unfortunately, some people didn’t get the memo, so I’m taking this opportunity to say it unequivocally: There is no organization or department of any kind that harms my community that deserves my respect.”

Thursday night’s show promises colorful musical numbers from superstars including Marc Anthony, Romeo Santos, Prince Royce, Juanes, Thalia, Maria Becerra and Cristian Castro.

This year, Bad Bunny, Carín León, Myke Towers, and Rauw Alejandro lead nominations with 10 nods each, followed by Beéle, Fuerza Regida and Karol G, who have eight each. Xavi has seven nominations, while Alejandro Fernández, Elena Rose, J Balvin, Maluma, Morat and Shakira each received six.

Under the theme “Honrando lo que Somos” (Honoring Who We Are), the 38th annual gala “will honor pride in where we come from and the cultural force that unites generations, genres and borders, paying tribute to our roots, our essence and the cultural identity that defines us,” according to a press release.

Awards will be presented in 44 categories across genres such as pop, urban, tropical, and Mexican music. Additionally, five artists will be honored with special awards: Juanes will accept the Lifetime Achievement Award; Paloma San Basilio the Award for Excellence; Arcángel the Urban Icon Award; Los Bukis the Musical Legacy Award; and Manolo Díaz the Visionary Award.

This year’s nominations were based on airplay on Uforia stations and took into account airtime on Univision Radio, streaming data and evaluation by a Television Committee composed of music and entertainment industry experts. The eligibility period was from Sept. 30, 2024, through Oct. 1, 2025.

Cohosted by Thalia, Clarissa Molina and Nadia Ferreira, Premio Lo Nuestro 2026, airing live on Univision, UNIMÁS y Galavisión, is also be available for streaming on ViX across the U.S. and most Latin American countries.
