EsDeeKid Keeps It Rocking & Rolling With New Rager ‘Omens’

As he tears through North American venues, Liverpudlian rapper EsDeeKid has dropped the new single “Omens.”

The anonymous rapper – once rumoured to be Timothée Chalamet – is currently on his debut headline tour through the U.S. and Canada. On Friday (Feb. 6), he will headline the Bowery Ballroom in New York City, before hopping across town to Elsewhere (Feb. 7) and then hitting L.A.’s Roxy Theatre and Echoplex on Feb. 9 and Feb. 12, respectively.

“Omens” is the latest song from the musician who wears his Scouse roots proudly and who has rapidly risen from the underground U.K. rap scene to international attention; he appeared as one of Billboard U.K.’s artists to watch in 2026.  His debut album Rebel was released in June 2025 and peaked at No. 23 on the Billboard 200 and No. 8 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart. Two singles, “Phantom” and 4 Raws,” hit the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 67 and No. 28, respectively.

The song is accompanied by a new video directed by Archie Erskine (JustBanco, Aitch) which you can see below. “Omens” was produced by Cppo, Toom & Wasa.

Despite growing attention, EsDeeKid has remained masked and anonymous leading to viral theories of his identity. At one point, fans suggested that actor Chalamet could be the voice behind the persona based on a perceived similarity in the appearance of both mens’ eyes and eyebrows. The rumor was debunked in December when the Marty Supreme star jumped on a remix of “4 Raws” and appeared in the track’s video.

EsDeeKid is competing in the best breakthrough category at the BRIT Awards on Feb. 28, his debut nomination. He will perform live at Rolling Loud in Orlando, Fla. on May. 8, and appear at All Points East in London on Aug. 23.
