‘Full Circle’ finds Misch at his “most personal and honest”, per a press release. The forthcoming project “explores the stories and moments that have shaped him over the last four years: family, friendships, nature, and celebrates the work of finding his way back to himself”.
It follows the artist’s “step back” from music, which he recently opened up about on social media, and him reassing his relationship with music.
Misch created the material for the LP during his time spent between London, Cornwall, Portugal and Nashville. For ‘Full Circle’, he decided to step away from a production-led creative process, in favour of a more classic songwriting approach.
The artist used piano and guitar on the album, and expanded his sound with a full band in the studio. He committed to recording live takes, while minimising comping for a raw and spontaneous feel.
Misch worked closely with Matt Maltese, who co-wrote numerous songs on ‘Full Circle’. Ian Fitchuk developed much of the material in Nashville, with Adam Jaffrey serving as a key collaborator during the record’s earliest stages.
He used a vintage U47 microphone throughout, and set out with a vision to achieve specific sounds inspired by the warmth and clarity of ’70s hi-fi records. Misch has cited the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and John Martyn as influences.
The first preview of ‘Full Circle’ comes in the form of ‘Sisters With Me’, which emerged during a time when Misch was living with his sisters in their family home for the first time as adults.
“It wasn’t my intention to write anything like that but it was probably a bit of subconscious creativity with everything that was going on,” he explained of the single.
The song is accompanied by a nostalgic official music video, filmed in the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. It was made by photographer and filmmaker Juliet Klottrup, and produced by CANADA.
“When life moves so fast/ It washes away/ We’re ocean deep/ Yes, we are the same,” Misch sings on the touching, reflective cut. “The youngest of three/ We evolve and we see/ The love life can bring/ Its uncertainty.” He later adds: “With my sisters I breathe/ It’s my sisters I need/ My sisters with me/ My sisters with me/ Oh the water runs deep/ Sisters with me.”
Misch tells the listener of the strong bond between his “family of five“, saying that he and his sisters are “cut from the same threads“.

When opening up about his break from music on social media, Misch explained that the “intensity” of the industry had affected his mental health. However, he told fans that he had still been “tinkering away” with new material “behind closed doors”.
He wrote that “taking some time away” had “definitely been needed and very formative” for him, in “exploring who I am outside of this project and trying all sorts of new things”. Misch also said it was important for him to spend “more time with family and friends”.
After ‘Geography’, Misch dropped 2020’s ‘What Kinda Music’ – on which he collaborated with Yussef Dayes – before sharing his first record as Supershy, ‘Happy Music’, in 2023.
The following year, the artist joined Loyle Carner for his All Points East takeover in Victoria Park, London. Misch released his latest EP, ‘Six Songs’, in December that same year.
