BLACKPINK Opens Pre-Orders Window for ‘Deadline’

BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE is fast approaching.

As expected, the K-pop superstars will drop their third mini-album, DEADLINE, on Feb. 27. For BLINKS who just can’t wait, pre-orders open today, where fans can snap up colored CD and vinyl editions from online and physical retailers, and via Record Store Day.

According to YG Entertainment, the album will be released in a total of four versions: Photobook, Digipack, Package Box, and MD version. The Photobook will be available in two editions: BLACK Ver. and PINK Ver. Each includes a 72-page photobook, selfie photocards, a group folded poster, and photo and graphic stickers. The Digipack (silver version) includes a different version for each member, and pulls together a photobook, selfie photocards, a folded poster, and a photo film ticket.

“We would like to express our deep gratitude to the fans who have waited patiently for a long time,” reads a statement from YG Entertainment. “We hope to return the love and patience you’ve shown us with high-quality music, and we ask for your continued support.”

The new collection marks their first as a group in almost four years, since BORN PINK arrived in September 2022. In the meantime, the singers embarked on their own projects, which included solo albums and acting gigs, from HBO’s The Idol (JENNIE), and The White Lotus season three (LISA).

The title of the upcoming release is the same as the global superstars’ world tour in 2025, which kicked off July 5 and 6 at the Goyang Sports Complex in South Korea, the first time JENNIE, JISOO, ROSÉ and LISA had performed together as a unit since 2023. The jaunt is scheduled to wrap with its “grand finale” at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on Jan. 24, 25, and 26.

BLACKPINK has made a habit of wrecking the history books with their recordings and live shows. The foursome made a triumphant return to the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts last July with “Jump,” which leapt to No. 1 on each survey, confirmation of it becoming the biggest song in the world. It was the pop quartet’s third leader on the former ranking and fourth on the latter.
