BTS announce cities and dates for huge 2026-2027 world tour

BTS have announced the cities and dates for their huge world tour in 2026 and 2027. Find all the details below.

The K-pop stars recently welcomed in the new year by revealing plans for a new album and a global run of dates. The long-awaited follow-up to 2020’s ‘Be’ is due for release on March 20. A title has not yet been confirmed.

Today (Tuesday January 13), it has been confirmed that BTS will embark on their biggest tour yet. The global trek is set to cover 34 regions with a total of 79 live shows spanning Asia, North America, Europe, South America and Australia.

The show will boast a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design, creating an immersive setup that puts fans at the centre of the experience. This format also allows for an increased capacity at each venue.

BTS will achieve the highest number of tour dates and the widest regional reach for a South Korean artist.

Kicking off this April with multiple concerts in Goyang, South Korea, and Tokyo, Japan, the forthcoming tour also features stops in Tampa, El Paso, Mexico City, Stanford and Las Vegas.

From there, BTS will head to Busan, South Korea, for two performances on June 12 and 13.

They’ll return to Europe later that month, with shows scheduled in Madrid, Brussels, Munich and Paris. There are currently only two UK dates on the group’s 2026/27 itinerary, taking place in London on July 6 and 7, 2026.

BST are due to embark on another North American leg this August. This will include visits to East Rutherford, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and more locations, ahead of some South American concerts in October.

More dates are lined up for Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia in November and December of this year.

Two gigs in Australia will be held in Sydney and Melbourne in February 2027, before further performances in Hong Kong and the Philippines next March.

More cities are to be announced for Japan, the Middle East and more, according to a press release.

Tickets for the dates announced today go on general sale on Saturday January 24. Alternatively, Army Membership holders can access pre-sales between January 22 and 23. Find all ticket information here and here.

BTS’ forthcoming LP was recently listed as one of NME‘s most anticipated album releases of 2026. “Expect this comeback to be massive,” the entry read.

“We’ve waited more earnestly than anyone else,” RM wrote to announce the group’s return. “The year we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived,” Jimin added. “In 2026, we’ll make even more good memories, so look forward to it!” V said.

In a previous statement last year, they wrote: “We’ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year. Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music.

“Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.”

They added: “We’re also planning a world tour alongside the new album. We’ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you’re as excited as we are.”

The K-pop stars reunited last July for the first time since 2022, with all seven members having completed their mandatory military service in South Korea. During a special livestream, BTS confirmed rumours that they were preparing to release new music.

In August, RM said the band were “working diligently” on their upcoming material.
