When Bunnie Xo left Jelly Roll to his own devices while she was away on a recent trip to Las Vegas, he partied like an animal — well, more like he partied with animals.
In an adorable video the podcaster shared to Instagram on Monday (Dec. 29), she playfully exposes the wholesome fun her country-star husband got up to while she was away. “Me and the crew flew into Vegas last night, and I woke up this morning to a series of videos from my husband of what’s going on at the farm while we’re gone,” Bunnie began before sharing the clips Jelly sent her.
The camera then cuts to shots — filmed by Jelly — of the couple’s pet cows, Crunch and S’more, escaping their corrals and running around as helpers try to get them back inside. “Crunch has gotten out,” the singer says, cackling. “Uh oh. This is what happens when you’re not here, mama.”
“When the cat’s away, the mice will play!” Jelly hollers. “Oh, here comes S’more! Run, S’more, run!”
In her caption, Bunnie revealed with a cry-laugh emoji: “I haven’t even been gone 12 hrs.”
Jelly and Bunnie first welcomed the cows into their family this past January, along with another bovine named Brownie and a donkey named Griz. “When you went for one mini-cow, but came home with three,” the Dumb Blonde host wrote on Instagram at the time.
This past year, the couple has also been working to grow their family by welcoming a baby through IVF. Bunnie has been open about the mental and physical toll her fertility treatments have taken on her, venting in an August episode of her podcast how they’ve kept her from making as may public appearances with her husband.
“Somebody said the other day, they’re like, ‘They used to always be together. Now you never see them together,’” she said at the time. “I’m like, do you guys not know for the past six months I’ve been trying to make a baby? … I literally have been on IVF meds for f—king six months and going through heartbreak and f—king so much s—t.”
