Swift made the donation to the non-profit, which oversees a network of food banks, food pantries, and local meal programs across the USA, in time for Christmas.

Feeding America shared news of the donation via a statement from their CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenoton, on Instagram yesterday (December 23), which read: “We are incredibly grateful for Taylor Swift’s $1 million gift to Feeding America.

“This holiday season, her continued support is a powerful reminder of what is possible when we unite to end hunger. When we join together alongside people facing hunger, we can make sure families have a full table this holiday season and beyond.”

Swift previously donated $5million to the charity for relief efforts in 2024, following Hurricane Helene and Milton.

Throughout the course of her career-spanning ‘Eras’ tour, the singer-songwriter has quietly made major donations to foodbanks across the US and UK.

Swift recently released her new series documenting the tour, titled The End Of An Era.

The doc covers moments such as Swift handing out millions of dollars in bonuses to her live crew, breaking down in tears over the Southport stabbing attack, and getting emotional over a foiled terrorist plot targeting her dates in Vienna.

Viewers also get a peek behind the scenes as the pop giant rehearses for the massive run of concerts. There are numerous special guest appearances, too, including Florence Welch, Ed Sheeran and Sabrina Carpenter – all of whom joined Swift on stage on the ‘Eras Tour’.

In a three-star review of The End Of An EraNME described the series as “solid content for Swifties wanting to relive the tour’s huge collective dopamine hit”.

“There’s a great documentary to be made about the ‘Eras Tour’, but it’s probably an unofficial one exploring the unique sense of community it fostered among the singer’s fanbase,” it reads.

The ‘Eras Tour’ grossed a record-breaking $2billion through ticket sales, with Swift playing 149 shows in 51 cities across five continents. The singer boosted local economies and made headlines for the charity work she did along the way.

Swift released her 12th studio album, ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’, in October. Speaking upon its release, she admitted that she still thought about the ‘Eras Tour’ “every day” but said she had no desire to head back out on the road yet.

In other news, Taylor Swift has quietly changed the lyrics of two ‘Reputation’ tracks, fuelling speculation among fans. Last month, it was reported that she had secretly flown 3,500 miles in a private jet to film a music video in Croydon.
