Iron Maiden continue 50th anniversary celebrations with new signature Fender guitar collection

Iron Maiden have lent their name to a new signature Fender guitar collection in celebration of being a band for a half a century.

The collection encompasses new models from Fender Custom Shop, Fender and Jackson. Among them is a masterbuilt Stratocaster designed to mirror Dave Murray’s ultimate touring guitar, as well as a 50th anniversary Stratocaster from Fender. There’s also a Jannick Gers Stratocaster “designed for [his] high-energy playing and stage showmanship” and a Steve Harris Precision Bass for fans to recreate his “unmistakable galloping low end”.

The collection is rounded out with an Adrian Smith Jackson, which the brand says has been engineered for his blend of “melodic phrasing, speed and tonal versatility.”

“Honoring Iron Maiden’s fifty years of pushing heavy metal forward, this collection brings together the signature instruments that helped define their unmistakable sound,” said Max Gutnik, FMIC’s Chief Product Officer.

“From Dave Murray’s high-performance Stratocaster models and Janick Gers’ energetic, vintage-leaning Strat to Steve Harris’ unmistakable Precision Bass and Adrian Smith’s versatile Jackson SC1, each instrument carries the tone, feel, and power behind Maiden’s multi-guitar attack. These anniversary models are more than tributes; they are stage-ready tools built to inspire today’s players and the next generation.”

The band also teamed up with West Ham United for a double anniversary football shirt, in commemoration of 50 years passing since both the band’s formation and the Hammers’ 1975 FA Cup win.

The band commemorated the anniversary earlier this summer with a sold-out show at the Hammers’ home, London Stadium, where bassist Steve Harris wore the shirt on stage.

In September, the band announced a 2026 European tour, with shows in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, France and Portugal. They’ve also announced a massive UK date at Knebworth for next summer, with support from The Darkness, The Hu and others.

They’ve since been announced as one of three headliners for Austria’s Nova Rock 2026 alongside The Cure and Bring Me The Horizon.

Iron Maiden were also one of a number of artists who called on the UK government to uphold its previous pledge to put a cap on secondary ticket prices. They followed through with the decision shortly after, banning tickets from being resold over face value.
