Directed by Boy Harsher, the film also stars Chloë Sevigny and Bonnie “Prince” Billy
FKA Twigs, Sturgill Simpson, and others will star in The Lonely Woman, an upcoming thriller written and directed by electronic duo Boy Harsher.
Set in rural New England, The Lonely Woman follows a woman whose first love died in a mountain tunnel, and becomes engrossed in a new disappearance. It also stars Chloë Sevigny, singer-songwriter Bonnie “Prince” Billy (Will Oldham), and others.
The Lonely Woman will mark Boy Harsher’s first feature film, which they’ll also supply the soundtrack for. The duo — Augustus Muller and Jae Matthews — first directed the 2022 short The Runner. The film recently completed principal photography in Upstate New York, and is expecting to be released next year.
