The Paramore frontwoman will hit the road next spring for a lengthy run of shows across North America, Europe and the UK. It comes in support of her latest solo album, ‘Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party’, which she released digitally in August.
A 24-hour pre-sale registration period opened on Monday (November 10), and was initially set to stay live until 10am EST/3pm GMT yesterday (Tuesday November 11). However, this was then extended by five hours amid a high demand for tickets.
Williams announced additional gigs in Atlanta, Toronto, New York, Baltimore, Silver Spring, Minneapolis, Chicago, Nashville, Austin, Oakland and Los Angeles on the US and Canada leg.
She also confirmed a second performance in Cologne as part of the European trek, as well as extra dates in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin on the UK and Ireland leg next June.

Explaining how she would be keeping the ticket sale process fair for fans, Williams said: “It feels like the right time to let you know… I’m going on tour. And I want to get tickets into the hands of my fans, at a price that is as reasonable as I could get.
“I’ve had countless conversations with my team, and they’ve spent countless hours trying to find the best solution for fans to be able to buy tickets. It’s been tough (to say the least), and unfortunately, there’s no way to guarantee that zero tickets get scalped. But we’re doing our best.
“In short, I’m trying out a platform called Openstage to host a verified presale registration. Openstage’s fan validation system helps verify human fans and reduce bots and scalpers, giving my fans a better chance to access tickets.”
She continued: “All registrants will be required to verify both their email address and phone number as a preventative measure against bots and scalpers. Only those registered and verified for the presale will receive a unique code to purchase tickets during the presale period.
“It’s important to note that receiving a code does not guarantee you will be able to buy tickets – they will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.”
She insisted that “this system won’t be perfect” and said fans “shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to buy tickets to see the show”.
Williams went on: “Unfortunately, it’s a broken and convoluted system. My team and I are doing everything we can, and I am hopeful that the processes we’ve put into place will get as many tickets into the hands of my fans (at face value) as possible.
“I can’t wait to be back on the road and see all of your faces. We’ll dance, scream and cry together.”
Williams recently picked up four Grammy nominations for ‘Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party’, including Best Alternative Music Album.
In a glowing five-star review of the record, NME wrote: “As with almost every era of Hayley Williams’ career, this new release has come with questions about the future of Paramore. The determined lyrics on the tender ‘I Won’t Quit On You’ should be all the reassurance worried fans need, but if that’s not enough, there’s plenty in this brilliant, swaggering new chapter to be excited about.
“These songs might be about missed second chances, but Williams is certainly making the most of hers.”
