The Grammy nominations are out, and they include a host of first-time nominees – check out a full list below.

Yesterday (November 7), the Recording Academy revealed the full list of nominees for the 2026 Grammys, which are set to be presented at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on February 1.

Kendrick Lamar was the big winner with the announcement, picking up nine nominations thanks to his 2024 album ‘GNX’, while Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish and Tyler, The Creator were well represented.

Records had to be released between August 31, 2024 and August 30, 2025 to be eligible, and this year’s nominees feature many first-timers – some of whom were particularly unexpected.

Timothée Chalamet has earned his first nomination this year thanks to his role in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown. The accompanying album, on which Chalamet sings, is up for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.

The Dalai Lama is also up for an award this year, with his narration of his book Meditations: The Reflections of His Holiness the Dalai Lama nominated for Best Audio Book, Narration and Storytelling Recording. Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is also a first-time nominee for the same category.

In the music world, Addison Rae, Olivia Dean, KATSEYE, sombr, Lola Young and Alex Warren are all first-timers in the Best New Artist category.

Elsewhere, Sleep Token gained their first nods with nominations for Best Rock Song and Best Metal Performance. Yungblud also has his first nomination in the former category.
