TRNSMT line-up 2026: Richard Ashcroft, Kasabian, Lewis Capaldi, Wolf Alice lead the bill

The first wave of artists performing at TRNSMT 2026 have been revealed, with Richard Ashcroft, Kasabian, Lewis Capaldi, and Wolf Alice leading the way.

The hit Scottish festival will return to Glasgow Green for next year’s edition, and run from Friday June 19 to Sunday June 21.

Today (Friday November 7), the first wave of artists joining the line-up has been shared, with the opening day at the site being headlined by Ashcroft. The gig comes following the former Verve frontman winning over a new generation of fans with his opening slots on the Oasis ‘Live ‘25’ tour, and as he is releasing a brand new solo album ‘Lovin’ You’.

Also on that day he will be joined by Wolf Alice, who are reaching new heights with their album ‘The Clearing’ and dominated the stage at Glastonbury earlier this summer, as well as Glaswegian singer-songwriter Dylan John Thomas, cult Scottish trailblazers The Beta Band, and music icons Nile Rodgers & CHIC.

“TRNSMT, absolutely buzzing to be coming back to Glasgow next summer, see you down the front for a bittersweet symphony,” said Wolf Alice.

The Friday line-up also includes appearances from NewDad, returning to the festival following their 2024 debut, as well as Liverpool singer-songwriter Luvcat, Reading rapper Songer, and rising pop group Cliffords.

On the Saturday, Kasabian have been enlisted as headliners, and the gig will be held shortly after they release their ninth studio album ‘Act III’ in the spring. They are joined by London-based DJ Sonny Fodera, Scottish indie stars The Snuts, British rapper and poet Loyle Carner, and The Last Dinner Party.

Completing the Saturday bill so far are local legends The Fratellis, Mercury Prize-winners English Teacher, as well as Clementine Douglas, Rose Gray and Big Special.

Kasabian’s Sergio Pizzorno shared: “There’s nothing like a Scottish crowd, pure chaos, pure energy. TRNSMT 2023 was wild, even through the storm. TRNSMT ’26? Times that by a thousand. It’s going to be unreal. We can’t wait for the madness. Love you, Glasgow!”

On Sunday Capaldi will headline, and other performances will be seen from Amy Macdonald, CMAT, Two Door Cinema Club, former Little Mix star Perrie, Scottish sensation Katie Gregson-MacLeod, Red Rum Club, South Arcade, Overpass, and Westside Cowboy.

Capaldi’s slot comes as the star made a redemptive return to the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2025 after taking a break for his mental health. He has since called the Glasto slot “the best day of my life” while recalling his “mental breakdown on stage” at the festival in 2023.

Last month he confirmed details of a new EP called ‘Survive’.

As well as the main stage, TRNSMT also takes in the iconic King Tut’s venue in central Glasgow. On top of that, it hosts live music on the BBC Introducing Stage, as well as The Hangout, two dance stages and The Reset area, offering fans a chance to meet artists at the BBC Radio 1 photobooth.

It was recently confirmed that the 2026 edition will be taking place earlier in the year than usual.

TRNSMT 2025 saw headline performances from 50 Cent, Biffy Clyro and Snow Patrol, while other artists on the bill included Fontaines D.C., The Script, Gracie Abrams, Inhaler, Confidence Man, The Kooks, JADE, The Lathums, Wet Leg, Jamie Webster, Twin Atlantic, Jake Bugg, Sigrid, Wunderhorse, Underworld, Shed Seven and Nina Nesbitt.

It was also due to feature a set from Kneecap, but that was ultimately cancelled over “safety concerns”, while Mo Chara’s terror charge was being conducted by the Metropolitan Police.
