Paul Weller announces huge summer 2026 UK outdoor shows

Paul Weller has shared details of some huge UK outdoor shows for 2026.

The soloist and former Jam frontman took to social media today (Tuesday October 28) to announce a handful of upcoming headline gigs, which will see him play at some outdoor events across the summer.

Eight new shows have been confirmed, kicking off at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on June 12, and continuing the following two nights with dates at Live at Lincoln Castle and The Piece Hall in Halifax.

Weller will then play at the Pier Head in Liverpool and the Southampton Summer Sessions, before continuing the shows the following month. There, he will make a stop at Margate’s Dreamland on July 3, and wrap things up with a penultimate performance at the Bedford Summer Sessions (5), and a final show at Newcastle’s Exhibition Park (10).

“Summer 2026 is calling! Paul’s heading out across England, from the coast to the castle,” read the caption on Instagram. Tickets go on sale at 10am this Friday (October 31), and pre-sale options start from 10am tomorrow (Wednesday October 29).

Paul Weller’s UK 2026 outdoor summer shows are:

JUNE
12 – Scarborough Open Air Theatre
13 – Live at Lincoln Castle
14 – The Piece Hall, Halifax
18 – Pier Head, Liverpool
20 – Southampton Summer Sessions

JULY
3 – Dreamland, Margate
5 – Bedford Summer Sessions

The new tour dates come following Weller sharing a covers album called ‘Find El Dorado’ on July 25. It saw the artist put his own spin on classic tracks, inducing Bee Gees‘ ‘I Started A Joke’, The Kinks’ ‘Nobody’s Fool’, Bobby Charles’ ‘Small Town Talk’, and Hamish Imlach’s ‘Clive’s Song’, which he recorded alongside Robert Plant.

That record marked the follow-up to Weller releasing his 17th solo LP, ’66’, via Polydor in May last year – the day before his 66th birthday.

The past couple of years have seen the former Jam frontman get involved in numerous events in support of Palestine too. Last month he joined Damon Albarn, Brian Eno, Richard Gere and more for the mammoth Together For Palestine gig at Wembley, and before then he teamed up with Primal Scream, Inhaler and more for a ‘Gig For Gaza’ live event at Troxy in London.

As well as that, he partnered with Bobby Gillespie and The Clash’s Paul Simonon at a DJ event in London, where profits were shared with non-profit organisations working in Gaza, and also been seen seen as part of the huge crowd that gathered as Kneecap’s Mo Chara made his appearance in court in Westminster, charged with a now-dropped terrorism offence for his comments relating to Palestine.
