Drake Reunites With YEAT for a Trip to the ‘Dog House’: Stream It Now

After being previewed on the third episode of Iceman, Drake reunites with YEAT to drop “Dog House” on streaming services on Tuesday (Sept. 9). The BNYX-produced track serves as the third offering in the Iceman era from Drizzy, and features a sample intro from singer Julia Wolf, whom the 6 God co-signed over the summer.

Drake takes the baton with a twitchy beat switch and mocks a female friend’s crash-out ex, which some fans tied to being a reference to Kim Kardashian’s relationship with ex-husband Ye (formerly Kanye West).

“Shout out to her ex, he a crash out/ Took too many pills, he a crash out/ She in Hidden Hills in a glass house,” he raps on the chorus. The OVO boss jumps head-first into the first verse and name-drops Ja Morant after previously sniping at the NBA star on “Push Ups” last year.

“Jump up on the flight, she ’bout to jump, ’bout to jump, yeah/ Jump like Ja Morant, she ’bout to jump, ’bout to jump/ Lil’ girls trip, lil’ photo dump, yeah,” he flows.

YEAT joins the party and appears to “inherit the beef” with a possible jab at Drake nemesis Kendrick Lamar. “F—k a money tree, I’m a cash cow/ If I ain’t give a f—k then, I don’t give a f—k now,” he spews.

“Dog House” follows “What Did I Miss” and the Central Cee-assisted “Which One” as singles in the Iceman era. Drake remains on the road touring Europe with PartyNextDoor, as the trek heads to Germany for a handful of shows.
