The Sherlocks announce 2025 ‘Everything Must Make Sense’ UK tour with The Jacques

The Sherlocks have announced an ‘Everything Must Make Sense’ UK tour for later this year, with support from The Jacques.

The band released their album of the same name – their fifth Top 20 record – in February, and have now confirmed a 29-date tour that will kick off in Manchester’s Albert Hall on October 10, before eventually wrapping up on December 20 in Hull’s Welly.

A venue pre-sale for tickets has begun, with a general on-sale set for 10am on Friday (August 22). You will be able to find yours here.

Opening for The Sherlocks at all dates will be London-via-Bristol trio The Jacques, who have also just shared their new single ‘Ramona’, the latest taste of their upcoming second album ‘Make Repetition!’ (pre-order here), which will be out on September 5.

‘Ramona’ sees the band, who recently toured alongside Public Image Ltd., trip playfully through classic indie sounds, with jangly, twinkling guitars darting around understated synths and aching vocals. Frontman Finn O’Brien has said: “’Ramona’ is about projection, desire, and the way we blur fantasy with memory.” Check out the video here:

Speaking ahead of the tour, The Sherlocks’ Kiaran Crook has said: “This is a proper throwback tour for us. An old school Sherlocks tour where we’re hitting everywhere and getting back in amongst it. We’re a live band; this is what we love to do. Getting back in them rooms and connecting with real people is where it’s at!”

“This is the most extensive tour we’ve been on since our debut album came out in 2017. We’re absolutely buzzing to see the fans up close and personal. You can’t beat that raw energy of tearing the roof off with the songs and everyone just going nuts!”

“This time we’re even hitting places we’ve never played before, which for a band that’s been touring coming up to 10 years is something special! The tour is gonna be a real celebration of the new record now that everyone’s had time to learn the songs. We wanna play a lot of this new record, obviously mixed with the old classics. These gigs are gonna be absolute carnage!
