Taylor Swift knows what she’s getting into by joining boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce on their New Heights podcast. “You guys have a lot of male sports fans that listen your podcast,” the musician said in the latest preview for the episode set to premiere at 7 p.m. EST on Aug. 13. “And I think we all know that if there’s one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens, it’s more of me.”
In order to bridge the gap, Jason gave Swift the podcast introduction of a true champion. He knows how to speak the language of the sports fans who might not be well-versed in her history: league stats, awards, records, leaders, and scores.
“She is the most awarded artist in the history of the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards. And iHeart Radio Music Awards,” Jason began. He projected his voice loud enough to give any sports announcer a run for their money, earning an “Goddamn!” from Travis and an “Oh?” from Swift. “She has 14 Grammy Awards and is the only artist in history to win Album of the Year four times.”
The Eras Tour was the next championship Jason recounted on the podcast intro (He crowns the appearance as her podcast debut, but Swift did appear on Rolling Stone‘s 500 Greatest Albums Podcast in 2020 to go deep on Red). “Last December, she wrapped up the Eras Tour, which spanned 149 shows across 51 cities, five continents,” he said. “It was the most attended tour of all time.” Unable to resist, Travis echoed, “Of all time!” in a mocking tone, potentially calling back to some bad blood with Kanye West that Swift has long since wiped away.

But wait, there’s more. “Her last album, The Tortured Poets Department, set a record with 1.76 billion streams globally within the first week alone,” Jason announces, which really catches Swift by surprise. It’s hard to believe anyone would forget milestones of this magnitude, but maybe it’s easy to let a few slip through the cracks when you have so many. She picked some up from Travis, too. “And as a fan of that guy on the Chiefs, she has 19 wins, two AFC titles, and a Super Bowl.”
Swift is looking to rack up a few more accolades as she prepares to launch her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl, unveiled at 12:12 a.m. in the first New Heights teaser.
