The Best Photos from Bad Bunny’s Historic Puerto Rico Residency

Bad Bunny has always known how to throw a party, and his historic residency “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” in his beloved Puerto Rico is undoubtedly a very special one for him.

The Latin superstar kicked off his 30-date run at the Coliseo de Puerto José Miguel Agrelot, also known as El Choli, on July 11, offering “a three-hour masterclass in culture, history and music,” as Billboard journalist Isabela Raygoza wrote in her review.

From the stage design —featuring a typical Puerto Rican house as one of the most prominent elements— to the costume design and native rhythms, including bomba and plena, Bad Bunny pays homage to his roots while performing songs from his latest Billboard 200 No. 1 album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, at the iconic venue with a capacity for 18,000.

With a setlist that also includes the new single “Alambre Púa” and classics from Benito’s repertoire like “La Santa,” “El Apagón,” and “Si Estuviésemos Juntos,” the show has already featured a growing list of surprise guests in its first few days, ranging from NBA star LeBron James to musicians such as Jowell y Randy, Pedro Capó, Los Pleneros de la Cresta, and RaiNao.

Produced by Noah Assad Presents and Move Concerts, the residency will conclude on September 14th, with the first nine shows reserved exclusively for Puerto Rican residents before opening to international audiences. (If you’re planning to travel, check out our ultimate guide.)
