Oasis Celebrate Reunion Tour Kick-Off With Massive ‘Complete Studio Album Collection’ Box Set

With their first two triumphant reunion shows under their belts, Oasis are not done giving the people what they want. Following the kick-off of the Gallagher brothers’ much-anticipated first road show in 16 years, Oasis announced on Tuesday (July 8) that they will be releasing a sprawling, career-covering, limited-edition box set later this summer title Oasis: Complete Studio Album Collection.

The set will feature all of the band’s LPs, beginning with their smash one-two punch of 1994’s Definitely Maybe and 1995’s (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, as well as Be Here Now (1997), Standing on the Shoulder of Giants (2000), Heathen Chemistry (2002), Don’t Believe the Truth and their (for now) studio swansong, 2008’s Dig Out Your Soul. The collection will also wind in the band’s 1998 B-sides compilation, The Masterplan.

The collection will come in both an 8-CD edition and 14-LP versions on heavyweight 180g vinyl (as well as gold vinyl and gold CD box variations); pre-orders are available here now for the set that is due out on Aug. 22.

The box set news comes on the heels of last week’s announcement of a 30th anniversary edition of the group’s sophomore album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, which will feature the remastered album as well as new unplugged versions of five of the album’s beloved tracks: “Cast No Shadow,” “Morning Glory,” “Wonderwall,” “Champagne Supernova” and “Acquiesce.” The collection, due out on Oct. 3 through Big Brothers Recordings, will be issued in 2-CD, 3-LP and digital formats.

After calling it quits in 2009 following years of animosity, band leader brothers singer Liam and guitarist-songwriter Noel Gallagher buried the hatched in 2024 and announced this year’s get-back tour. The anticipated reunion kicked off on July 4 in Cardiff, Wales with a rapturously received two-hour set that hit found the siblings in fine form as they blasted through such beloved hits as “Morning Glory,” “Some Might Say,” “Supersonic,” “Roll With It,” “Cast No Shadow,” “Live Forever,” “Wonderwall” and Champagne Supernova,” among others.
