Maoli Signs With WME, Matt Stell Inks With Endurance & More Signings

Hawaiian singer-songwriter Maoli signed with WME for global representation in all areas. According to a press release, Maoli has racked up more than half a billion streams globally across nine independent album releases. He’s managed by Jason Gibbs, Shawn Dailey and Emilie Glover at Red Light. Maoli is currently on a tour of the U.S. and has a new album, Last Sip of Summer, slated for release on June 27.

Endurance Music Group struck a joint venture recording deal with Matt Stell, who already had a publishing deal with the company. The first release under the deal, “Heaven & Back,” was released on Friday (May 30). Stell is managed by Rich MGMT.

American Idol top 5 finalist Slater Nalley signed with Play It Again Music for management. He’ll be repped by Dallas Davidson, Alyssa Ramsey and Cade Price.

Singer-songwriter Cassandra Coleman signed with Warner Records, which will release her debut single, “Coming of Age,” on Friday (June 6). The single was recorded at Electric Lady Studios with assistance from Jack Antonoff and his band Bleachers. The track was co-produced by Antonoff and Nashville producer Scott Krueger, while each member of Bleachers played instruments on the recording. Coleman is next set to play Lollapalooza, Outside Lands and Antonoff’s Shadow of the City.

Big Loud Records signed “beach-folk” band The 502s and released the group’s new single, “Summer Fling.” The band is set to play festivals including Bourbon & Beyond, Borderland Music Festival and more this summer.

Atlantic Music Group and Avex Music Group partnered to release future music from the J-pop group ONE OR EIGHT. The companies will work together to promote the group’s upcoming single “365,” which is set for release on June 18.

Nettwerk signed metalcore artist PINKNOISE, who will release a new EP on the label. The first release under the deal is the single “Bittersweet.”

Rough Trade signed L.A. six-piece band The Sophs. The label released the band’s single “Sweat” on May 20. The group is set to play shows in California, New York and London this summer and fall.
