FKA Twigs promises to “explain the tea that’s lead to this craziness” after cancelled gigs as she confirms 2025 European tour

FKA Twigs has confirmed a 2025 European tour after multiple cancelled gigs.

The NME Godlike Genius posted the news on her Instagram, which shortly follows the cancellation of her North American tour dates due to visa issues.

She captioned the post with: “Wellll one day I’ll explain to you all the tea that’s lead to this craziness, but right now I am overjoyed and so excited to confirm the following shows.”

She added that she would be “spending the next two weeks in rehearsals to create something so beautiful for you all”, and continued: “I cannot wait to be reunited with you. What’s kept me going in this chaotic whirlwind is knowing the love for ‘Eusexua‘ stays strong, and the kind support you’ve all shown me.

The singer concluded the post by thanking fans for “always believing in me and my creative family”.

FKA Twigs is due to perform at festivals like Barcelona’s Primavera Sound, Paris’ We Love Green and Montreux Jazz Festival. Previously, FKA Twigs also had to drop of out Coachella last minute along with other US tour dates, saying that she was “devastated” to do so.

Explaining the reasons for her first batch of cancelled US dates, Twigs explained that “I was informed that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in a timely manner for us to have our visas to come to the USA and perform.”

The singer brought ‘Eusexua’ to London back in March, where NME scored the show a four-star review: “Dancers hang chains connected to her dress to all four corners of the box and every spotlight is rigged onto her; Twigs has no choice but to bare her soul to the crowd.

“To end the set with a song that expresses such spiritual suffering with some of the most magnificent vocals is truly brave; every tremble and crack in her voice is deeply felt, and it’s the most connected we feel to her all night. Now that’s ‘Eusexua’.”

We also gave a glowing five-star review to the album, writing: “Twigs has successfully shown that the connection of music, movement, mind, soul and body can be converted into sound, weaving these elements into a cohesive and transcendent artistic experience. She brings her own assured sense of creativity and spirituality and combines it with her ability to materialise the intangible. As the album’s closing track says, “You’ve one life to live, do it freely”. What better note to leave it on?”

In other news, FKA Twigs has explained why she asked North West to feature on “meta” ‘Childlike Things’.
