Lil Eazy-E Says He Wants to Recreate His Father’s Voice Through AI

Eazy-E‘s son wants to see his late father make a comeback with the help of artificial intelligence.

TMZ spoke with the late rap legend’s son Lil Eazy-E, who spoke about some plans he has in store for his father’s legacy. “I have something special that I’m doing,” he said. “I actually just got a sample of [Eazy-E] talking to me. It kinda made my mind go another route of the possibilities and the things you can do with AI. That’s where this world is going to. You can’t close your eyes and ears to new technology. I look at it as doing something special movie wise. I look at it as doing something special audio wise.”

He then revealed his concept for a new project where an AI model helps him tell both his father’s life story and his life story in a parallel universe. “I have a project that I’ve been dreaming about doing and it simultaneously tells you the story of his life and my life,” he said. “So, I want those times to where I can look back or have that individual talk to me and kinda guide me, and AI would be the best way of doing that.”

The late legend’s son added that he’s partnered with The Ace Industries in Las Vegas for the project, saying the organization “helped me build it” and “sent me a couple of samples, and it was touching, he was actually talking to me.”

During the unveiling of Eazy’s street sign in Compton, DJ Yella was asked about using AI to recreate his former N.W.A. group member’s voice by TMZ, and the producer seemed skeptical. “I think somebody’s working on something like that with Eazy’s voice,” he said. “I haven’t heard it yet, but they said it worked great. I’m like, ‘I gotta hear it to believe it.’”
