Man/Woman/Chainsaw have released their roaring new single ‘MadDog’.
The track is part of a one-off double A side release with So Young Records. Its first song ‘Adam & Steve’ was revealed earlier in April, which the band described as “our own bittersweet take on the heart-on-sleeve love song.”
Now, the London-based quintet have dropped ‘MadDog’, which matches ‘Adam & Steve’ and its exuberant instrumentation.
Speaking about the track, vocalist Vera Leppänen said:“’MadDog’ talks about losing a friend and watching them become everything you thought they wouldn’t. We wrote the song as two parts, the pissed off bit and the sad/nostalgic bit, and recorded it with a quick turnaround which was fairly new to us.”

Man/Woman/Chainsaw were named one of NME‘s 100 Essential Emerging Artists to watch out for in 2025, and we hailed Man/Woman/Chainsaw’s debut EP when it dropped last November in a four-star review.
“‘Eazy Peazy’ practically fizzes with youthful energy and the possibilities of musical creation,” we wrote. “It’s raw and throws everything in its sizeable arsenal at the wall, however, basically everything sticks. The resulting effort’s audacious energy is a sight to behold and whips with enough force to spin your head clean off your shoulders.”
