Zara Larsson has introduced the latest chapter of her career with the brash new single ‘Pretty Ugly’ – watch the video below.
The Swedish pop star only released her fourth album ‘Venus’ last year, but she is already back with the promise of a new album to arrive later in 2025.
The first taste of it is here with ‘Pretty Ugly’, an electroclash-influenced banger that sees Larsson cutting loose and boldly exclaiming, ”Have you ever seen a pretty girl get ugly like thi? / Messy like this? / Losing her shit?”
The video, directed by Charlotte Rutherford, sees her knocked down by the power of a wall of speakers, before being joined by a troop of fiercely choreographed barefoot dancers in mud, under the pouring rain, as chaos sets in.
