Megan’s sets at the Californian festival have seen her put on two a high-octane performances alongside a slew of star-studded guests. The rapper kicked off her set the first weekend with a mash-up of ‘Ungrateful’ and ‘Thot Shit’, before covering GloRilla‘s ‘Wanna Be’, followed by a mega-mash up of ‘Freak Nasty’, ‘Girls in the Hood’, ‘Where Them Girls At’ and ‘Savage’.

She then brought out Courtney LaPlante, lead vocalist of metal band Spiritbox, for the live debut of their collaboration ‘TYG’, and was later joined by Queen Latifah, Victoria Monét and Ciara.

With the festival now wrapped, fans have now spotted that the ‘Best Friend’ rapper also took time to recreate a viral picture from last year, when Delevigne and Rapp were pictured flanking her like bodyguards. Looking back at the moment, Suicide Squad star Delevingne shared the trio’s Coachella recreation of the photo with the caption: “The Lesbian Bodyguards.”

Elsewhere last year, Megan and Rapp performed their collaborative song from the Mean Girls reboot on Saturday Night Live, with the rapper appearing halfway through the song as a surprise guest.

The singer also released her album ‘Megan: Act II’ in October that year, which received a glowing five-star review from NME, reading: “On ‘Act II’, Megan confirms why she’s “the baddest bitch out right now” once again.

“Despite all the adversity that has plagued her in recent years, she firmly stands atop the rap world as the princess of rap, gazing down from her pedestal while polishing her tiara – maybe there’s a coronation on the horizon very soon.”

The LP also made it onto NME‘s 50 Best Albums of 2024 list, while the track ‘Hiss’ cinched the Number 10 spot in our 50 Best Songs of 2024 roundup.
