Olivia Rodrigo kicked off El Clásico with a concert to remember for her biggest fans — and featuring her biggest hits.
On the slope of Montjuïc mountain in Barcelona, Teatre Grec was completely transformed for Rodrigo’s very own Spotify Billions Club Live concert. Upon arrival, guests were greeted not only to a picturesque outdoor amphitheater reminiscent of Ancient Greece, but also lush landscapes completely decked out to celebrate her achievements both on the streaming platform and in honor of her new partnership with FC Barcelona ahead of the big match. On the grounds outside of the bowl were merch stands for the football collab, access to free food and drinks and even a major photo moment with all nine of Rodrigo’s Billions Club plaques.
Beyond the atmosphere, the show itself was absolutely electric. Following similar sets by Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus and more, Rodrigo performed almost all her songs with over a billion streams on Spotify, plus a few others, that all had the crowd singing their hearts out. The free show was reserved for about 1,500 of the most devoted Livies, with invites going out to her top fans in the area “selected through their listening on Spotify,” according to an early press release.
It all went down just two days before rivals FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will go head-to-head at the recently-renovated Spotify Camp Nou, where Barça could be crowned league champions if they take home the win. There, FCB players will also be wearing an exclusive version of their iconic blaugrana jersey with Rodrigo’s logo in place of Spotify’s.
A celebration of Rodrigo’s biggest hits almost feels too soon, considering her big break was barely five years ago. But it was a night well-deserved, with the pop star giving it her all and the crowd giving back just as much.
Check out our roundup of the biggest moments below.

A Very GUTS-y Opener and Closer
Just like her GUTS tour shows and festival stints in 2024-25, Rodrigo opened and closed the gig a pair of major bangers from her sophomore full-length. The album’s second single “Bad Idea Right” was quite the rockin’ way the party started, with both the crowd and Rodrigo herself literally jumping throughout, with her signature all-female band jamming beside her. The energy remained electric 13 songs later, wrapping her set with “Get Him Back!” clapping on beat alongside the rest of the crowd. Though neither of the songs are in the Billions Club, they were the perfect way to pay tribute to the era that made her a household name.

Spending Time in Spain and ‘Practicing My Spanish’
Before a pair of rousing acoustic performances with her guitarist Arianna Powell, Rodrigo delivered a short speech about her time on the Catalan coast.
“I’ve been having so much fun in Barcelona,” she began sitting cross-legged at the edge of the stage. “I’m not blowing smoke, I love it. Every time I get to come here, it’s like a little vacation. You guys are the most beautiful city ever.”
She also shared she has been “practicing my Spanish” ahead of the special set and showed off her skills: “Muchas gracias estar por aqui conmigo,” which translates to, “Thank you so much for being here with me.”

For the Fans
Filled with Rodrigo’s top streaming fans, it’s no surprise the outdoor amphitheater’s decibels were off the charts all night. But the Livies were truly the core of the show. Before making her way to the grand piano, the audience erupted in a sports-like chant (with some even waving their Olivia Rodrigo x Spotify x FC Barcelona scarves): “y reina, y reina, y reina, reina, reina!” Before “Drop Dead,” a fan even gifted her a beautiful flower bouquet, that happened to perfectly match the night’s girly pink aesthetic.
The popstar treated the attendees, too — asking fans in different parts of the venue to sing along with her during “Deja Vu” and even making her way off the stage and into the crowd for “jealousy, jealousy.”
While Rodrigo delivered a set to remember, the audience gave just as much.

A Noticeably Absent Billions Club Member
Rodrigo has nine songs with over a billion streams on Spotify (four of which have over two billion streams), but only eight were performed during the Barcelona show. Noticeably absent was “All I Want,” Rodrigo’s 2020 High School Musical: The Musical: The Series breakthrough. It’s understandable since it’s not part of Rodrigo’s core catalog, though she is listed as the song’s only writer, and some fans seemed to expect a performance. After wrapping with “Get Him Back!,” a few fans began chanting the Disney song’s title as if they were manifesting a surprise encore, despite crew members immediately beginning to take down the stage.
