2025 Webby Awards: Kendrick Lamar, Charli XCX, Lady Gaga Score Nominations

Across music and video categories, they join nominees Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa, Laufey, Gracie Abrams, Christina Aguilera, Nick Jonas, and more

The 2025 Webby Awards are celebrating the most inescapable moments in music online. Scheduled for Monday, May 12 in New York City with Ilana Glazer attached to host, the awards show revealed its nominations on Tuesday, April 1 with some of the biggest genre-spanning artists leading as nominees.

In the Music Video, General Video & Film category, Kendrick Lamar‘s “Not Like Us” will face off against Dua Lipa’s “Illusion,” Megan Thee Stallion’s “Mamushi,” Charli XCX‘s “Von Dutch,” and Lady Gaga‘s “Abracadabra.”

Meanwhile, the Music, General Video & Film category features nods for the Spotify special The 25th Anniversary of Christina Aguilera and Gracie Abrams’ The Secret of Us (Short Film) presented by Vevo Extended Play. Nick Jonas, WIll Ferrell, Ludwig Göransson, and more also appear in the batch of nominees.

More musicians are scattered throughout the remaining categories, at times going head-to-head with viral creators. Laufey is nominated in the Art, Culture & Music, Individual Creator category, while Sam Smith’s The Pink House podcast is nominated in the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging, Shows category.

The Webby Awards will be presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences. Nominated talent are also eligible for the Webby People’s Voice Award, a fan-voted honor.
