From Lady Gaga to Missy Elliott, here are the performances we’re looking forward to this year
Coachella is back for its 25th edition this year, which means a slew of stars are heading to the desert for highly anticipated, headline-making performances. The 2025 lineup is a mix of genre-bending pop, hip hop, Latin sounds, and even some country in there, with major artists, emerging acts, and touches of 2000s nostalgia all thrown into a jam-packed three days.
Lady Gaga returns as one of the festival’s headliners, and she tells Rolling Stone she can’t wait to bring her new album Mayhem to fans. “It means so much to me and it’s so special that I want everything to be a surprise. But I will say that we’re crafting it moment by moment,” she said. “I can’t wait to do it… I love singing for people and making people happy.” She’ll close things down on Friday, which also includes sets from Missy Elliott, Benson Boone, Lisa, and The Marias.
On Saturday, rock band Green Day will take the mainstage, just after Charli XCX and T Pain. Post Malone is the final headliner, shutting down the festival on Sunday, a night that will also feature a special performance from Travis Scott, plus Megan Thee Stallione, Jennie, and Kraftwerk. Along with the headliners, there are tons of acts we can’t wait to see. Check out the 20 artists we’re most excited for below.
