Taemin’s 2024 ‘Ephemeral Gaze’ world tour: new stops in Latin America, US and Europe announced

SHINee singer Taemin has announced the Latin American, US and European legs of his ongoing ‘Ephemeral Gaze’ world tour.

The K-pop idol announced the tour’s new slate of stops on November 1 via his official social media channels. The ‘Ephemeral Gaze’ world tour has received an additional Asian stop in Macau and 13 new shows across Latin America, North America and Europe spanning from January to March 2025.

Taemin’s Latin American tour will begin in Mexico City, before he moves on to play shows in Sao Paulo and Santiago. He will then embark on the tour’s US leg with shows in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and more. Thereafter, he is scheduled for shows in five European cities.

Specific venues and ticketing information have yet to be unveiled, but are expected in the coming weeks.

In August this year, Taemin released his latest mini-album ‘Eternal’. Speaking to NME, the SHINee singer opened up about his decision to move to new label Big Planet Made after over a decade at SM Entertainment: “For any person who is safe and stable inside a fence, they’re bound to find themselves lagging in terms of [their own] growth and development.”

“Like when you’ve been living with your family and move out once you’re an adult. I think that was the trigger for me [to move to a new company],” he adds. “I mean, I could have just stayed comfortably inside that fence, but I’ve always been the kind of person who takes on challenges.”
