‘SNL’: Watch Bad Bunny Perform ‘NUEVAYoL,’ ‘PERFuMITO NUEVO’

Both tracks are from his latest acclaimed album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos

Bad Bunny returned as Saturday Night Live musical guest to perform two songs from his sixth studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which he released in January.

Up first was “NUEVAYoL,” the album’s salsa-infused opening track.

The album, which is the Puerto Rican rapper’s follow-up to 2023’s Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, hit number one on the U.S. Billboard 200. And at one point or another, all 17 tracks charted on Billboard‘s Hot 100.

The critical reception for Debí Tirar Más Fotos–proof that Bad Bunny is “in his prime,” as Rolling Stone‘s Maya Georgi wrote in a five-star review–is a fitting reward for what the artist said was his most enjoyable album to make.

“I think there’s something in my DNA that’s calling me. And I loved making [Debí Tirar Más Fotos]. The album I enjoyed making the most, out of all of them, was this one,” he told Rolling Stone in a January interview.

On Saturday, Bad Bunny hit the stage later for “PERFuMITO NUEVO,” alongside fellow Puerto Rican singer RaiNao.

The rapper will be having a residency in support of the album in San Juan from July to September, followed by his Debí Tirar Más Fotos world tour from November through next July.

Bad Bunny was SNL‘s host and musical guest in October 2023, and he debuted on the late night show in 2021. Before Saturday, his most recent appearance was in a sketch for the 50th anniversary special in February.
