Roskilde Festival 2025 adds Olivia Rodrigo, Deftones, Jamie xx and more to line-up

Roskilde Festival has announced a new wave of names to its 2025 line-up, with huge names like Olivia Rodrigo and Deftones now being added to the bill.

The 2025 instalment of the Danish non-profit festival will mark its 53rd edition, and is set to take place between June 28 to July 5.

The first wave of artists was shared at the end of last month, with Stormzy confirmed as headliner. Also confirmed on the bill were Fontaines D.C., Beth Gibbons, Arca, Faye Webster, Magdalena Bay, Fat Dog, Geordie Greep, I. Jordan, Wisp, Snow Strippers and more.

Now, the second wave of artists performing at Roskilde 2025 has been confirmed, with pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo leading the pack and set to perform on July 4. With the announcement, the slot comes after her hugely successful 2024 ‘GUTS’ world tour, which attracted over 1.4million fans. It also marks her only Scandinavian show in 2025.

“Olivia Rodrigo is undeniably one of the biggest names today. Her exceptional ability to express the complex emotions of youth with such authenticity and intensity sets her apart from others in the industry,” said Roskilde Festival’s Head of Music, Thomas Sønderby Jepsen.

“As an artist, she represents a new generation of headliners who are unafraid to show their vulnerability and break boundaries, making her a perfect fit for Roskilde Festival. We are immensely proud to host her only Scandinavian concert in 2025, and it will be a celebration to go down in the history books.”

Joining Rodrigo on the updated bill is American metal legends Deftones, who are currently preparing to release new material in 2025 – potentially their first album since 2020’s ‘Ohms’. British producer and former The xx member, Jamie xx, will also be heading to the festival in 2025 for a performance on the main stage.

Other new names include hyperpop star and Charli XCX producer A.G. Cook, UK punk duo Lambrini Girls, Irish folk artists Landless and The Mary Wallopers, as well as others including Artigeardit, Saint Levant, Anoushka Shankar, Flock, Nala Sinephro and HiTech.

Last year, Roskilde saw Foo Fighters, SZA, Doja Cat and Skrillex headline the festival, with PJ Harvey, 21 Savage, PinkPantheress, Jane’s Addiction, Ice Spice, Jungle, Khruangbin, J Hus, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Romy, Aurora and Blondshell also featuring on the line-up.
