The single appears on the rapper’s new EP, Blue Moon
Coi Leray has dropped a music video for her new single, “Isabel Marant.” The song comes off the rapper’s EP, Blue Moon, out today via Uptown Records/Republic Records.
In the clip, directed by Michael Vincent, Leray descends into shimmering blue water and emerges, mermaid-like, coated in glitter. She performs the hard-hitting track from a room filled with mirrors and atop a rock in the water.
“Wake up got to sleep in Margiela/ Bitch I got that, on my dresser,” Leray spits on the single. “Bitch I’m really rich got my check up/ Yea my socks is Kapital/ Walk in Christian Dior with Kenzo loafers/ Red carpet I’m casual.”
Blue Moon follows Leray’s recent LP, Coi. The EP features five new songs, including “Isabel Marant.” The release of the EP coincides with the actual Super Blue Moon that will be seen on Aug. 30.

“This EP, I get vulnerable. I got tired of ‘trying’ new things and wanted to just do what I do BEST,” Leray wrote of the EP on Instagram. “I have a hard time with telling my story because I get wrapped up in the media narratives, however music is the best way for me to tell it. Sorry I can’t argue with yall on the internet all day. It’s my life, my story, so why not let me tell it? Shit.. at least give me a chance to.”
She continued, “The amount of pressure I have on me in the music industry is wild. I mean, who knew I would be walking red carpets and stages with the same icons I listened to growing up. Being nominated or sitting next to ICONS on the Billboard charts in my lil 5-year run. I’m just grateful to have come this far. Just like @bustarhymes said, ‘who am I to judge someone who’s journey isn’t finished?’”
