Los Bukis Announces Las Vegas Residency, the First All Spanish-Language Stint on the Strip

Los Bukis has announced a headlining residency in Las Vegas, set to kick off Friday, May 3, at the Dolby Live at Park MGM. According to a press release, the 15-date stint will make history as the first-ever full Spanish-language residency on the Las Vegas Strip.

Presented in partnership with Live Nation and MGM Resorts International, Los Bukis: The Las Vegas Residency celebrates the Mexican group’s 50th anniversary and will offer fans a more intimate concert experience in the 5,200-seat entertainment venue.

The news of the residency follows Los Bukis stadium tour, which kicked off in 2021, reuniting the band after a 25-year hiatus. According to Billboard‘s 2021 year-end Boxscore charts, Los Bukis’ Una Historia Cantada Tour landed a No. 6 spot on Billboard‘s 40 top tours of 2021 with a total gross of $49,667,153. The reunion trek also won Top Latin Tour at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.

Following the group’s 2021 stadium trek, Los Bukis — helmed by Marco Antonio Solís — hit the road once again in 2022 for additional dates. “Being able to share the stage together and see the emotion of the people in the stadiums are things that really mark your life in a beautiful way. It feeds our heart and soul,” the grupero band previously told Billboard.

Los Bukis has sent 32 entries onto Hot Latin Songs (which began in October 1986), scoring five No. 1 hits, including “Como Fui A Enamorarme De Ti,” “Y Ahora Te Vas” and “Mi Mayor Necesidad.”

Below are dates for the Los Bukis residency. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Feb. 2.
