Jacob Collier and Camilo Share Sweet Memories on Bright Single ‘Mi Corazón’

The fourth volume of Jacob Collier‘s Djesse is on the way!

On Friday, the musician released the sweet single “Mi Corazón” with Colombian pop star Camilo, days after revealing the star-studded track list for his upcoming album, out Feb. 29.

“Camilo is without doubt one of my favorite humans and musical forces on the planet,” Collier said in a press statement about the song. “Despite us only having met three times, we genuinely feel like brothers.”

The video follows the two in a colorful, half-animated town as the two stars are transported into different spaces and imaginary parts of the world. The end of the video captures the singers in the studio laughing and working on the track.

The duo crossed paths back in August and “instantly hit it off” before they joined each other in the studio the following month. Camilo says that seeing Collier in the studio “filled me with a renewed energy to continue creating.”

“That afternoon’s experiments resulted in ‘Mi Corazón,’ which elated the two of us in equal measure,” Collier said. “When we met a couple of months after that to shoot the music video, both of us knew we had a friend for life in the other. I am overjoyed this song is in the world!”

“Mi Corazon” is part of his upcoming album Djesse Vol. 4, which will feature new songs, such as “Never Gonna Be Alone” with Lizzy McAlpine and John Mayer and “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” with John Legend and Tori Kelly, along with previously released singles such as “Little Blue” with Brandi Carlile and “Witness Me” with Shawn Mendes, Stormzy, and Kirk Franklin.
