Jack Harlow Offers Ben Affleck Some Sage Advice in New Dunkin’ Ad

He may be vanilla, baby, but Jack Harlow‘s got a good head on his shoulders in the new Dunkin’ teaser the company dropped on Thursday (Feb. 8), ahead of Super Bowl Sunday and all of its highly anticipated ads.

The new spot picks up where Dunkin’ last left off, with aspiring pop star Ben Affleck continuing on his path to music greatness. The new teaser finds him getting some advice from six-time Grammy nominee Harlow, who also has three Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hits to his name, while the two are seated in a beige car having a heart-to-heart.

“Here’s why I know it’s right,” a passionate Affleck, dressed in a bright fuchsia turtleneck and black jacket says, his Boston accent strong as he explains his desire to follow his musical path. “It’s ’cause there’s a voice: ‘Don’t do this! Terrible mistake!’”

“That might be what you need to hear,” the White Men Can’t Jump actor points out to the Oscar winner.

But Ben ain’t havin’ it. “NO! That’s the wrong voice!” the self-professed Dunkin’ fan insists before the “Lovin On Me” rapper points out that it could be the actor’s “voice of reason” trying to guide him onto the right path.

“Naaaaaah,” the actor-director deadpans. “I don’t have that voice — believe me!”

In the coffee and doughnut company’s prior ad, which arrived during the Grammys telecast on Feb. 4 — Affleck channeled wife Jennifer Lopez as he prepares to get his music career off the ground. As part of his preparations, he offers a new moniker and persona he calls B. Lo (“That’s the bad version, obviously”), as well as a new look that includes the aforementioned vivid shirt and jacket, as well as a huge doughnut on a gold chain, reminiscent of Flavor Flav’s giant, blinged-out clock necklaces.

Affleck also appeared in Dunkin’s 2023 Super Bowl ad, running one of the chain’s drive-throughs at a Boston shop before Lopez makes her cameo to show him who’s boss.
