House Music Heavyweights Meduza Announce ‘Transcendent’ Nine-Date Vegas Residency

House music is taking over Resorts World Las Vegas in 2024. Rolling Stone can exclusively announce that house DJ group Meduza will host a residency at Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Dayclub in 2024, featuring nine sets from the group’s members Simone Giani and Mattia Vitale.

“You can expect a party at every show of the residency!” Meduza tells Rolling Stone. “That’s why people go to Las Vegas, to party and have a good time, and to forget about whatever else is going on in their lives. We want to be part of that transcendent Las Vegas experience for people, giving people memories that will last a lifetime.”

Giani and Vitale will take turns hosting shows during different weekends as Meduza for fans to experience “the different perspective of each member” during nine shows throughout the year, including ones on Halloween, EDC Week, and Formula One week. (Meduza’s third member, Luca De Gregorio, will not participate in the residency.)

“Zouk Nightclub felt like an obvious choice to us,” Meduza says. “It’s an innovative space that is massively contributing to the ever-evolving dance music landscape of Las Vegas. It’s new and exciting and plays host to some of the most renowned acts in the world. They have since attracted a new electronic audience that truly appreciates the house music genre and culture surrounding it.”

The trio has quickly grown in popularity since their debut “Piece of Your Heart” with Goodboys and “Lose Control” with Becky Hill and Goodboys in 2019. Both songs have garnered nearly 2 billion streams on Spotify, collectively.

The group dropped their debut LP Meduza last year, featuring hits like “Tell It to My Heart” with Hozier, “Paradise” with Dermot Kennedy, and “Bad Memories” featuring James Carter, Elley Duhé, and Fast Boy.

“We look forward to sharing the MEDUZA experience at Zouk globally,” says Joe Lopez, Vice President of Zouk Group Las Vegas. “MEDUZA brings an incredible show and captivating discography. We pride ourselves on seeking great artists who are at these pivotal moments in their careers. We’re excited to be part of their journey and have them call Zouk their home on the Las Vegas Strip.”

The announcement of Meduza as Resorts World’s artist comes after they revealed that T-Pain, James Hype, Odesza, and Illenium will be among the artists to lead their lineup of residencies for the year. Carrie Underwood announced an extension to her Reflection residency through October 2024 at Resorts World Theater last month. (Katy Perry and Luke Bryan recently wrapped their own residencies.)

“We have a very exciting 2024,” Meduza adds.
