In recent months the pop-rap star has fuelled speculation that her follow-up to 2023’s ‘Scarlet‘ is on its way.

Teasing began in late October – when she wiped her X account and posted a singular word: “album”. Then, at the start of November, she took to the platform once again to share a list of song titles that appeared to be the album’s tracklist, before quickly deleting the post.

The list consisted of 13 tracks, including five starred songs that Doja said were her favourite. Those five songs are currently titled ‘Cards’, ‘Acts Of Service’, ‘Make It Up’, ‘Did I Lie’ and ‘Crack’. She later noted that the songs were not listed in order.

Now, in three videos shared to X this morning (November 30), she’s further teased the potential album with brief snippets of music.

In the first video, captioned “Lets talk about it”, she begins to open her mouth to speak before promptly cutting off the clip.

Shortly after, she shared a video captioned “my bad yall”, where she says: “Ok, I’m sorry. I’ve just been like fucking with you guys this entire time and I feel like it’s rude and I apologise for that. So, I do wanna talk about basically,” before ending the video again.

Then, in a final 59-second video, she begins pressing play and pause on various tracks. In total, she teases nine clips, before laughing and ending the video. Check it out below.

Doja’s last album, ‘Scarlet’, scored a three-star review from NME: “It all adds up to an overlong, slightly repetitive but ultimately compelling album of two halves… Still, by this stage, there’s no doubt that Doja has made her point – that she doesn’t owe us anything but to be herself.”

In other Doja Cat news, crypto hackers recently took over her X account and attempted to ignite a beef with Iggy Azalea. The attempt at igniting beef was quickly smothered by Azalea, who posted: “Don’t buy this y’all. She’s hacked. Save your money, the market’s down as it is…”

In June, Doja also kicked off her European and UK tour, performing at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow. The gig scored a four-star review from Janessa Williams, who wrote for NME: “What you get from her is a seamless show trimmed of all the fat, one that aims to celebrate the lane of her own artistic satisfaction, unbothered by those who do not see her skill. When it’s working this well, why shouldn’t she do things her way?”
