Billie! Bernie! Bad Romance! The 12 Best Coachella Moments from Weekend One

Here are all the most exciting, shocking, unexpected, and very brat highlights from Coachella

From K-pop and reggaeton mexa to techno house and a classical orchestra, Coachella 2025 spreads its reach and tried to hit every genre under that 101 degree sun on the first weekend.

That meant that there were almost too many good moments to name: Friday’s main stage was packed with pop as Marina served “Cuntissimo,” Benson Boone rocked with Brian May, and Lady Gaga gave a theatrical headlining set that’ll be talked about for years. Tyla had crowds slow-winding at the Outdoor Theater, D4vd face-planted (and recovered flawlessly!) on the Gobi stage, Lisa delivered a choreo-packed performance, and Mustard brought out guests galore.

On Saturday, T-Pain brought us back to Y2K, Missy Elliott played her hits, and Charli XCX closed off Brat’s eternal summer with Lorde, Billie, and Troye. Elsewhere, Rolling Stone cover star Ivan Cornejo dueted with Cigarettes After Sex, Alok called out artificial intelligence, and Horsegiirl had the Mojave tent galloping to crazy beats. And then on Sunday, Shaboozey and headliner Post Malone brought some country twang to the festival on its final day. Junior H and Megan thee Stallion brought out a bunch of friends, Circle Jerks called for “an army of Luigis,” Amyl and the Sniffers urged peace in Palestine and respect for migrants on the Gobi stage, Ty Dolla $ign hosted a wild party with YG, Roddy Ricch and Wiz Khalifa, and Jennie got sexy with Kali Uchis.

Whew. It was a lot, but here are the absolute 12 best moments from the weekend.
