Nick Offerman Calls Trump a ‘Half-Assed Putin Wannabe’ in Pro-Kamala Song

Nick Offerman is pledging his support for Vice President Kamala Harris as the next president and doing so in the way he does best: via a comedic anti-Trump-aimed song. On Tuesday, the comedian released “Proud to Be a Kamala Man,” a silly track sung from the perspective of a former Republic to the tune of “God Bless the USA.”

“I’m very enthusiastic to be supporting the presidential campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz. For obvious reasons, there are a lot of Republicans that are very Kamala-curious,” he introduces the song and its Trump-aimed video. “Let me offer you a song that’s from the point of view of one of these Republicans, one of these good citizens, who formerly was blinded by misinformation and has now found a way to see clear, to decency.”

The video splices clips of Trump and the Capitol attack on Jan. 6 as Offerman sings, “But the cons and lies, the rapes and rants, all the bullshit laid on think, got me trying, because there’s no denying that Trump is a fuckin’ dick.”

Later in the track, Offerman describes Trump as a “half-assed Putin wannabe” and describes “dicks” Trump and Vance as “fuckin weird” as he shouts out how he’d want to “crack open a beer” with “future Vice President” Walz.

“Kamala’s got momentum, and that lady she’s no quitter. Plus, she never hid nuclear secrets in the Mar-a-Lago shitter,” he sings before the silly “Kamala Man” chorus.

Offerman first performed the song, which he co-wrote with Mark Rivers, during a Comcis for Kamala fundraiser earlier this month. On the call. Offerman began by saying he was “grateful to vote for a presidential candidate in Kamala Harris, who didn’t just prosecute rapists, but also is not one herself.”

That Comics call saw appearances by comedians such as Ben Stiller, Tiffany Haddish, John Stamos, Margaret Cho, Ed Helms, Patton Oswalt, Keegan-Michael Key, Mark Hamill, and Ken Jeong. By the end of the evening, the event raised more than $530,000 for Harris’ campaign.
