Olivia Rodrigo Unwraps Holiday Single ‘Take Me Home (4 Christmas)’: Stream It Now

Merry early Christmas, Livies! Olivia Rodrigo just unwrapped her first-ever holiday song, “Take Me Home (4 Christmas),” dropping it alongside a festive music video on Thursday (Nov. 5).

The visual features the pop star among a family in eye-popping Christmas sweaters, as teased in a preview a few days prior to the track’s released. In the clip, celebrity guests Cynthia Nixon and Ben Marshall play a version of “Head’s Up,” with everyone trying to guess the same name — “Olivia Rodrigo” — taped to their foreheads.

Produced by Dan Nigro, “Take Me Home (4 Christmas)” comes on the heels of Rodrigo’s recent remix of “Expectations” featuring Chappell Roan, which propelled the track — originally featured on the Daisy Chain Fields creator’s Billboard 200-topping album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love — to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Rodrigo’s new release leads a bevy of other holiday music coming out this week, arriving a few hours ahead of Alanis Morissette’s album Good Weather for Immaculate Conception and Sufjan Stevens’ compilation Worst Christmas Ever. It also comes amid the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series alum’s Unraveled Tour, which has dates scheduled across the United States and Canada through Dec. 20 — which might mean some fans will get to hear “Take Me Home (4 Christmas)” live as the shows get closer and closer to Dec. 25 — before it resumes after a short break next year in January.
