Sienna Spiro will no longer take the stage at the All Things Go festival.
The rising singer/songwriter announced Monday (Aug. 31) on her Instagram Story that she has pulled out of her scheduled performances at the festival due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Spiro was slated to appear at the festival’s Washington, D.C., and New York iterations in September.
“Hello everyone,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “I am so sad to say that I won’t be able to perform at All Things Go this year.
“I was so excited for these performances but due to unforeseen circumstances I won’t be able to make it this year,” Spiro continued. “I’m so sorry to anyone that was planning to be there, I love you all and I hope to see you soon.”
The singer did not provide further details about the circumstances behind her decision, and it is unclear whether All Things Go will announce a replacement for her sets.
Spiro was originally booked to perform at the festival’s D.C. edition, taking place Sept. 25-27 at Merriweather Post Pavilion, as well as the New York edition at Forest Hills Stadium that same weekend. Her previously announced festival dates placed her alongside artists including Brandi Carlile, Lola Young, Hayley Williams, Mitski, MUNA, Zara Larsson and more. Additionally, Spiro is set to embark on the My House world tour, kicking off Oct. 13 in Nashville.
Though the festival cancellation comes as surprising news, it doesn’t dull the spark of Spiro’s breakout year. Her single “Die on This Hill” became her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100, eventually reaching No. 20 on the chart dated Jan. 31. Her debut album, Visitor, has also made an impressive top 10 showing on the Billboard 200, peaking at No. 9.
All Things Go has not addressed Spiro’s withdrawal at press time.
