Supergrass to “pull out the hits and deep cuts” on 2027 UK tour

Supergrass have announced a 2027 UK tour, where they’ve promised to “pull out the hits and deep cuts”.

Gaz Coombes and co. will perform throughout April and May next year, marking their first UK headline tour since their 2025 ‘I Should Coco’ 30th anniversary jaunt.

They’ll play nine dates across the country, kicking off at Newcastle’s NX on April 26. From there, they’ll head off to Glasgow (27) and Leeds (30), before performing at Manchester Academy on May 1.

They’re also set to play in Nottingham (4), Birmingham (5), London (7), and Bristol (11), with a final show at Portsmouth’s Guildhall on the 12th.

Coombes said the band were “excited to get back into it next year”, and added: “Last time around was all about ‘I Should Coco’ so for the next live shows we’re going to have some fun going through the records, pulling out even more of them hits & deep cuts for your ears. Bring on Spring 27!”

Artist presale commences from 10am on September 2, with venue presales on the following day (September 3) at 10am too. General sale will then begin at 10am on September 4. Get your tickets here and see all dates below:

We spoke to Coombes in 2024 ahead of the band’s anniversary tour, where the frontman opened up on the potential for new solo music. His last release was 2023’s‘Turn The Car Around’.

Coombes told us there was “definitely” new music on the way, elaborating: “It’s quite an interesting time for me, as there are a couple of other projects that are keeping me busy. I can’t really say what they are, but it’s more soundtrack-y things. That’s taking up all my time at the moment and will do until when we kick off with Supergrass. At the start of next year, I’m also planning some sessions to start writing for me.”

Though the Britpop icons split in 2010, they announced their return in 2019 on a mission to “bring joy into a slightly disturbed world”.
