Gabz Landman Named Executive VP of A&R at Warner Chappell Music

Gabz Landman has been promoted to executive vp at Warner Chappell Music, the company announced this week. Since joining the publishing outfit in 2022, Landman has facilitated several key signings including those of Laufey, Madison Beer, The Chainsmokers and Diplo.

Landman will continue to be based out of the company’s Los Angeles office, where she reports to Ryan Press, president of A&R, North America.

“Gabz has a natural instinct for spotting and developing talent ahead of the curve, and she brings a 24/7 hustle to everything she does that’s rare to fine,” Press said in a statement. “Having built some of the strongest relationships in this business, she’s a real advocate for artists and songwriters, and a true leader helping drive Warner Chappell’s growth, both on the charts and culturally. She’s earned this, and I couldn’t be prouder to see this next step.”

Landman has also worked extensively with songwriter Amy Allen, who won pop music songwriter of the year at the 2026 ASCAP Pop Music Awards and was the first woman to win the Grammy Award for songwriter of the year when she took home the honor in 2025; Allen has collaborated with Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae, Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Dean, among many others. Landman has also worked with Cal Shapiro, who has collaborated with Alex Warren and Cameron Whitcomb. Landman had most recently held the title of senior vp of A&R at Warner Chappell.

Prior to joining the company, she served as creative director at TAP Management and as vp of A&R at Warner Records. At the start of her career, Landman was an intern at Billboard.

“I’m incredibly grateful to Ryan and the entire team at Warner Chappell for this opportunity,” Landman said in a statement. “Since joining the company, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented songwriters and artists in the industry, and I’m endlessly inspired by their creativity and drive. Discovering and developing talent is my greatest passion, and I’m excited to keep building on that work in this new role.”

In April, Laufey renewed her publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music. Her album, A Matter of Time, hit No. 4 on the Billboard 200 following its release and a Grammy for best traditional pop vocal album.

Landman appeared on Billboard’s 40 Under 40 list in 2025 and was also named to Billboard’s Women in Music.
