The 13-year-old artist, who released her debut EP earlier this year, had 14 tour dates planned with rapper Molly Santana
North West‘s summer schedule has cleared up. The 13-year-old artist’s 14-date tour with rapper Molly Santana has been scrapped just days before its scheduled start. “I was really excited to go on tour w Molly Santana,” West wrote on Instagram. “It isn’t happening anymore, but I have something special for u guys. See ya soon.”
West and Santana announced the KimoKawaii Tour in June with plans to kick off the run on Aug. 5 in Dallas. The pair would have been on the road through Aug. 27 with stops in New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Toronto, and more.
“To everyone who bought tickets to the tour, I sincerely apologize,” Santana, 21, wrote on Instagram. “I know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard-earned money planning to be there. Nothing makes me more happy than the opportunity to share more amazing memories with you all, and I hope to see you soon. You are all so greatly appreciated and please know that I never take your time or support lightly. I love you so much & I promise I will make this up to you.”

West hasn’t had the chance to get much performance experience under her belt, having only released her debut EP, N0rth4evr, in May. “It’d be easy to write North off as a novelty until you hear the angst oozing through the Slipknot-esque drums executed with startling conviction,” Rolling Stone wrote in a review. “Here is the daughter of one of the most scrutinized couples in pop-culture history, [Kim Kardashian and Kanye West], and she exhibits a self-awareness well beyond her years.”
West isn’t the only member of her family experiencing complications with touring this year. While attempting to book venues across the U.S. and Europe, her father, Ye, experienced major backlash due to his past antisemitic remarks.
